To be honest I don't have a lot of inherent feelings for holidays - something about Wesleyan teaching me to question the inherent, sexuality is a spectrum, etc.
But Cinco De Mayo did teach me about a few inherent things, namely that Mojitos are always great and so is spending time with people who are important to you. Even (especially) if you don't realize exactly how important at the time.
